I recognize that I am one of those lucky people who earn their living doing the thing that they love most: photography. I served my apprenticeship working as an assistant to a successful fashion and advertising photographer in London and got my first break when I was living in Ibiza. GEO magazine commissioned me to shoot a story of the island as it transformed from a rural backwater into the international playground it is today.
From there it was just a short hop to Madrid where I found myself immersed in the whirlwind world of fashion and advertising, shooting editorials for the top magazines and campaigns for the likes of Iberia Airlines, Seat cars and El Corte Inglés amongst others. Meanwhile, I would take off alone to shoot documentary stories commissioned by travel and nature magazines; Rioja wines, Spanish olive oil, Columbus' landings in the Bahamas...
Then it was enough. With my wife and two small babies I came to a quiet village on the Mediterranean and switched my energies into a new field, wedding photography. With my background, contemporary, documentary style wedding photography was the perfect vehicle to continue to express my creativity.
Together with old time friends, Scott and Jasper, both coming from similar backgrounds, we have formed what we like to think of as one of the most creative teams in the world of wedding imagery.
